How do you create more time for these higher value opportunities?

You batch create, curate, and schedule content for your social media. This means that you’re going to dedicate 2-4 hours per platform just 1-2 days per week. This much dedicated time actually allows you to find the pictures, videos, and news articles that are needed for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

If you utilize resources like Buffer or Hootsuite, you’ll be able to schedule content to a variety of social media sites at one time. Why You Should Send 50 DMs Every Day On Instagram

Why You Should Send 50 DMs Every Day On Instagram

Most of us use social media for our social lives. Facebook and Instagram keep us most entertained with Twitter leading the pack for breaking news and crazy viral moments. Even LinkedIn has joined in on the excitement empowering business professionals all over the world. Today we’re going to focus on the importance of why you should send 50 direct messages every day on Instagram.

Since the real estate industry has become so saturated, you’ve got to do something that separates you from the rest of the pack. The key to social media is relationship building and having meaningful conversations. The problem that does arise is how much time do you have to spend on these social media conversations.

Cracking each social media’s code is crucial to many of the biggest and best teams that exist today. The best way to leverage Instagram is to legitimately send 50 DMs to people per day. If you search through the comment sections of other agents and teams, you can come across premium leads. The best way to connect with them is simple, just say hello and encourage them to have a great week. You need to get on their radar and support their content in a way that isn’t creepy or weird, and not 100% about getting their money.

Since sales and lead generation is a pure numbers game, the more people you identify as potential clients the better. Adding people to your pipeline can only improve the likelihood that you end up gaining a client.

Dispelling 5 Myths About Real Estate To New Agents

Dispelling 5 Myths About Real Estate To New Agents

In the world of real estate, you find yourself running into a lot of armchair experts. With the endless facets of the internet, a little research makes a professional in the eyes of many adults. The same could be said of countless new real estate agents entering the field. Unsubstantiated expectations and assumptions about this career often make-or-break new agents. For this reason, we’ve lined up five myths about this career that we feel need immediate dispelling.

Get-Rich-Quick

A pitfall many new agents fall into is the belief that this line of work is the fast-track to riches galore. Not necessarily true. A property lawyer vancouver professes that when you’re a professional of the real estate variety, you put the needs of your clients well-above your own. This means when preparing, and selling a home, often there are costs that you’ll have to pay out of pocket. Coming into the world of real estate with a small savings account and a get-rich-quick mentality can lead to a real-quick failure.

Flip Every House

Though reality television has given the impression that flipping houses like a madman is the secret to financial success—they’re wrong. True value and profit come from renting a home out to tenants for a long period of time. Holding on to a piece of property while tenants are literally working to pay-off your mortgage until the market is in the right place is probably the smartest move. More often than not those that sold a house over a decade or two ago experience severe “seller’s remorse.”

Being A Landlord Is A Full-Time Job

In the past having to collect rent, find and screen tenants, and handle maintenance was admittedly pretty demanding work. But with the wonderful innovations of the internet and software, most of these processes can be handled from the convenience of your home. This means people are now able to maintain the position of landlord across several homes, at either part or full-time.

Non-Traditional Work Schedule

Any job that you don’t clock in to typically requires as much from you as you’re able to give. Just because you walk, and talk like a real estate agent doesn’t mean you’re putting in the extra hours. Working a job that has something you could be doing towards it at all times can be daunting. Planning out specific times throughout your day devoted to sending emails, grinding towards making your first million dollars. Ironclad accountability and drive are the keys to success in finding the right groove of working non-traditional hours to build your business.

The Market Is Always Booming

The real estate market fluctuates, greatly. It’s operating both cyclically, and seasonally. When it’s good, it’s very good, and when it’s bad…you get the idea. Undeniably it will be slow in Q1 and Q3, and hot in Q2 and Q4. The biggest misconception about the real estate market is that anything can happen fast; it’s all slow. Things can feel amazing that’s happening quickly that is actually hurting you, and vice versa for when you feel like you’ve been on a losing streak. You might actually be on the upswing.

Reference Points

Niche is a convenient site dedicated to giving proper schools the ranking they deserve, among other things of relevance. The 2018 Best Public Elementary Schools ranking they formed is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district. Another great source is US News who compiles a Top Washington Schools list every year.

With 503 students, and a 19:1 student-to-teacher ratio, there are ample friends for your child to make, but not too crowded of a classroom. Not to mention how well-maintained this Mukilteo facility is, and the readily available performance data for recent years.

Maplewood Parent Cooperative

Maplewood Parent Cooperative is a highly rated, public, alternative school located in Edmonds, WA. With only 455 students in grades K-8 it maintains a student-teacher ratio of 22:1. This is a wonderful, well-maintained facility with the room for almost 500 students, yet big enough staffing to give everyone ample attention. The average state test scores for the students at this school are 86% proficiency in math and 91% proficiency in reading. This is a veritably reputable institution and a good choice if you just moved to the area and have a child hungry for knowledge.

International Community School

Voted #3 by US News, #35 in National rankings, with a college readiness score 98.4/100.0, International Community School in Kirkland is a cut above the rest. International Community School is a small 6-12th-grade public school in the Lake Washington School District of Washington State. It has about 60 students per grade. International Community School Is Certifiably Amazing

International Community School Is Certifiably Amazing

In one of our last blogs, we brought up the potential of finding a home in our great Snohomish County that is close to a reputable public school. Among the three we brought up, International Community School stood out the strongest. Voted #3 by US News, #35 in National rankings, with a college readiness score 98.4/100.0, ICS in Kirkland is top-notch. If your child shows strong signs of academic aptitude in elementary, then probably submitting an application to ICS would put them in the fast-lane to success.

ISC (founded in 1997) is a small 6-12th grade public school in the Lake Washington School District with about 60 students per grade. It’s part of a series of schools founded by Dr. Bruce Saari. “International” in the school’s name reflects an international focus in curriculum, though it’s not an international school in the usual sense. And as we mentioned, there is an application, but it pans out a little bit different. Visit Hoboken NJ Dog Walker when you want to walk your dog and you are busy at school.

All complete applications are entered into a lottery to select those who will be admitted. In the event that there is space available in excess of the applications submitted by in-district students, applications by out-of-district students are allowed. In recent years, there’ve been over 800 applications for the 65 or more spots available yielding a less than 10% chance for admittance. Utilizing a lottery to keep things exclusive, yet still fair is just an additionally intelligent aspect of this institution.

The Curriculum

ICS’s curriculum focuses on six core subjects—international studies, world languages, the arts, humanities, science, and math. This integrated curriculum keeps a focus on international and global awareness. Many of the courses offered in grades 10-12 are either honors or advanced placement, so only the best and brightest.

The option of studying abroad upon the completion of a foreign language program and embark n a focus week excursion outside of class. With over fifteen clubs and activities such as drama, Future Business Leaders of America, and the National Honor Society. There are even ample opportunities for parents to volunteer for various school-related functions, field trips, and parent nights.

The Faculty

With phenomenal test scores and post-graduate success rate, naturally comes an equally impressive staff. Every single review by present or past employees on Indeed.com reveal nary a negative comment on the institution. Their overall score out of 46 reviews is a solid ⅘.

These are scores potentially reflective of educators that had a long-standing career at this school, and have watched it grow since 1997. Whether coming, or going, or staying, ICS is an upstanding place to grow, and learn together, either as student or teacher.
